January 20, 2021

President Donald Trump Leaving the White House

On January 20, 2021 President Donald Trump and his wife Melania left the White House after serving a one year term as President and First Lady.   Trump lost the November election to Joe Biden and Biden was inaugurated as the new US President on this day.

Senate of the USA Holding Vote

After a 5 day "trial", which many thought violated the US constitution, the 100 member Senate voted on Mr. Trump's guilt or innocents.    This video explains the charges against the former President

Roll call and Senate Members Votes

The procedure calls for a clerk to call out each Senate member by name and record the vote of each member.   A 2/3 (67 of 100 members) majority is required to convict the accused of the alleged "crime"

The Presiding Official Reads the Results

When voting was completed the Official formally announces the result of the voting.   In this case Mr. Trump was acquitted.   

Continued "Witch Hunt" by Democrates

For the 4 years Trump served as the US President his opponents and many member of the press spend enormous efforts to discredit him....they hated him.  This Impeachment was the last straw in their efforts to destroy Trump.
